Next Book Recommendation/Thoughts
So, no, I haven't finished the book yet (I emailed you about it); however, I have a suggestion for the next one. Since I am not done with this book, and I HIGHLY recommend The Hunger Games trilogy, I thought maybe you guys would be interested in reading them while I finish up. They are really quick and easy reads, but SOOOO good. Chad and I LOVE them. I got people at work hooked too. Similar to Twilight feeling, although not vampires, but a little sci-fiish. I typically avoid sci-fi, although it is only slightly sci-fi, just futuristic in nature and setting. Let me know what you think. I could still participate in the posts, and finish up the Fearful Symmetry book at the same time. Just a thought.

I have been meaning to read them anyway. One of my students, who is reading on the 1st grade level, recommended them to me. Someone must have read them to him or he listened to them on tape. He was so enthusiastic, I think he will really appreciate if I read them too and talk with him about it in front of the other kids in class. That will probably make him feel very good. So...I will grab them tomorrow. Barnes and Noble is right next door to DSW. :) I seriously hope that one day I can have a library room in my house so that buying all of these books instead of going to the library works out in my favor.
ReplyDeleteYay! They are really good books - but easy reads. I don't think they are 1st grade level reading, but they are young adult reads, so that helps them be fast paced and easy to read.
ReplyDeleteOh, and LOVE the library room idea. I think that it is a good idea since libraries will most likely be a thing of the past once everything is digital. I can't imagine not being able to hold a book in my hands. Sad sad day when that happens.
