Moving on...

So...I got the second book in the Matched trilogy Crossed and will start that once I am done my trashy, but oh-so-good vampire novel. Even though I wasn't crazy in love with the first book, I must admit I was giddy when the second book came in the mail and can't wait to start it.

I am on the waiting list at our public library for the Marriage Plot, so I will read that once it comes in. I hope this is our next title!?????????? I'll get the These is my Words...book afterwards.

Fixed the Book List & Finished Damned!

So, I think I fixed the Book List, although I don't know if I remembered the heading right (you can change it) and I couldn't remember any other titles other than The Marriage Plot. Help! I have finished Damned by Chuck Palahniuk and didn't like it so I didn't add it to the list. I just ordered the second in the Matched trilogy and will read it regardless. I am reading another trashy Vampire novel, second to last in the series.

Do you ladies want to read the Matched trilogy? You'll read it in a wink, but if not no worries. I'll read it on my own. Do you want to read The Marriage Plot if not? Let me know so I can get whatever it is we're reading.

Finished Matched!

So....this is such a quick read, I finished it in a week or so just reading while I was on the elliptical. At first I couldn't help feeling as if the writing/situations were forced to meet some standard of recent YA literature/Brave New World type writing; but by the middle of the book, I was interested enough in the characters and by the end I was interested enough to stay up an extra hour to finish the book!

So, I finished the book. Not sure that you all have started. Wouldn't hold it against you if you chose to skip it altogether. Wasn't my type of read.

I am on to reading Matched, by Ally Condie. Certainly written for YA, but nice and easy read. Perfect for me after TTW.
