Catching Fire
Okay. Finished the 2nd one. This was a strange one and it didn't feel over when it ended. These books are a nice light read and fun. I'm headed to Nascar today with Phil. Seriously. I will take pictures. It is bound to be some good people watching.

The Hunger Games
I just finished The hunger Games. I only bought the first in the series because I was too cheap and the other two aren't out in paperback yet. I bought it on Tuesday; it really is a quick read. I enjoyed it. I didn't mean to read the entire thing without posting, but I didn't want to put it down. lol. I'm not sure what it was that held my interest, but I enjoyed it. I told my student that I picked it up and he was so excited to talk about it. Some other boys in class heard us talking and were like, "are they talking about a book?" It was pretty funny.

Next Book Recommendation/Thoughts
So, no, I haven't finished the book yet (I emailed you about it); however, I have a suggestion for the next one. Since I am not done with this book, and I HIGHLY recommend The Hunger Games trilogy, I thought maybe you guys would be interested in reading them while I finish up. They are really quick and easy reads, but SOOOO good. Chad and I LOVE them. I got people at work hooked too. Similar to Twilight feeling, although not vampires, but a little sci-fiish. I typically avoid sci-fi, although it is only slightly sci-fi, just futuristic in nature and setting. Let me know what you think. I could still participate in the posts, and finish up the Fearful Symmetry book at the same time. Just a thought.
Love you ladies.

The Ending...
I just finished the book. I was following along fine until the last third or so of Part 3. I think I have more questions now.

Part Two
Well, I just finished Part Two. I'm still not sure what to think. I'm not bored reading it, but I'm not totally sure if I like it either. lol.
I hope your party is going well Nicole. I am off to get one of those pedicures where tiny fish eat your dead skin. Seriously. I am only doing that for 15 minutes and then getting a regular pedicure. I guess you have to let the fish work for about 2 hours to get a really good result, but who wouldn't want to try it. :)
I'm going to take my camera so I can document the fish feast.

Highgate Cemetery--no spoilers
Hi ladies, Sorry I have been bad about posting lately. You know why I have been bad about it and I promise to be better after this weekend. I am probably about 2/3 through the book and I am really loving it. I think that part of the reason I love it so much (but all of the reason by any means) is because it is set in London. Since I have some good memories about the place, I think the novel makes me recall them! Still, I think the most interesting place in the book is Highgate Cemetery. I have never been there (that I can remember) but now I really want to visit. Not to sound macabre, but I really like old cemeteries. I actually seek them out on occasion. Anyway, if you want to read more about Highgate Cemetery, check out the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highgate_Cemetery or their website: http://highgate-cemetery.org/

So, I agree with Melissa so far that this book is sad. I don't know how far you have gotten Nicole, but I don't see anything very uplifting yet. I still like it, but it doesn't radiate happiness for me.
